We are looking for an Accounting Lead to work in the Amsterdam office to help grow the Finance & Compliance team. This role manages and reports on all financial transactions and ensures accurate record-keeping, compliance with relevant accounting standards, and the timely preparation of financial statements.
• Manage A/P, A/R and the GL, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation
• Oversee and control bank reconciliations
• Prepare manual adjustments and bookings (including payroll)
• Execute transfer-pricing calculations
• Lead the internal and external audits, incl providing documentation
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and collaborate with external tax providers on the tax returns
• Cooperate with the Controller to ensure all bookings are accurate and complete
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Prepare first half-year closing, transitioning to quarterly closings
